Roman Transportation
Rome has many roads and streets. There is one road in particular that circles the whole way around Rome. This road circles all the way around Rome. The name of the road is named the "Grande Raccordo Anulare."

Roman Farming
Most of the Roman farming was done by African slaves. Some of the primary foods in rome were grapes and olives. Olives were used to make olive oil and they were traded with other countries for other things in return. The grain that the romans grew were mainly harvested by hand until the first century of A.D. Rome has such a large population that they do not have enough food to feed all of the Romans so they get lots of grain imported from North America, espscially Egypt.

Roman Language
The main Roman languages are Latin and Italian. Italian is one of the main ones because Rome is located in Italy. The reason that Latin is one of the main languages is because there is a city in Italy called "Latium."
